Taipei 101...

Taipei 101 is a landmark skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei. Tourists from all walks of life would definitely pay a visit to Taipei 101 since they recorded a place for being the world’s second tallest building after the one in Dubai.

The building consists of 101 floors with a multi-level shopping mall that houses hundreds of fashionable stores, restaurants and clubs.

Inside Taipei 101, there is a steel pendulum that serves as a tuned mass damper to withstand the typhoon winds and earthquake tremors that unsurprisingly became one of the major attraction in the building itself. Taipei 101 also features an Indoor Observatory (89th floor) and an Outdoor Observatory (91st floor) where you get a glimpse of the whole Taipei City on a 360 degrees view.

If you’re visiting Taipei sometime soon, do not miss out on Taipei 101.

Taipei 101 from afar... you can see the bulding standing tall within the city iteself. We made our way there walking by foot... I was dreading and thinking when will we ever arrive? :P

The concept is pretty much similar to the Petronas Twin Towers you find in Malaysia. You get to enjoy a cup of coffee and shop at the same time. Everything in one place at Taipei 101!

The world's fastest elevator? The speed was 16.83 m/s! Woo damn fast!

Tada the major attraction inside Taipei 101... The huge giant yellow looking "ball" known as the pendulum that made sure the building stays where it belongs during typhoon season! When I first saw it, in fact I thought it look kinda fake.. :P
